Banana Split cake

This is a family favorite that is requested for birthdays. I haven't adapted it for Gluten Free yet, but someone requested the recipe, so here it is!



Banana Split Cake

Crust:
2 sticks melted butter
3c. graham cracker crumbs
1/2 c. granulated sugar

Combine butter, crumbs and sugar. Press into a 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.

Filling:
2 sticks softened butter
2c. powdered sugar
1/2 c Egg Beaters
1 tsp vanilla
Whip softened butter, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer for 10 minutes. Spread over cooled crust.

Then layer:
6-8 bananas, peeled and sliced lengthwise
1 16 oz can crushed pineapple, drained
1 large or 2 regular sized cartons whipped topping
3/4 c sliced or slivered almonds
3/4c maraschino cherries
Drizzle with chocolate syrup


Chill for 4 hours or overnight.
